Shipping policy
Processing time
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding week-end and holidays). You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Shipping rates and delivery times
We ship from California via USPS, UPS, and FedEx, depending on your location and order size. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days within the U.S. after processing. We are not responsible for shipping times as it depends on the carrier.
Order tracking
Every order includes tracking. Once your package ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow it from our door to yours.
If you don't see a tracking update within 3 business days of your shipping confirmation, email us at info@barksandbrownies.com and we'll look into it right away.
Lost, stolen, or damaged packages
We get it — once a package leaves our hands, a lot can happen. That's why we offer Shipping Protection for $0.99 at checkout.
What Shipping Protection covers
If you add Shipping Protection to your order, we'll replace your order or issue a full refund (including the original shipping cost) in any of the following situations:
- Lost in transit — your tracking shows the package never arrived
- Stolen during delivery — your package was confirmed but never made it to you (delivered).
- Damaged in transit — your products arrived broken, crushed, or unusable
How to file a claim
To keep our protection program fair and affordable for everyone, we ask for a few simple things when you file a claim:
For lost or stolen packages:
- Tracking must show the package was not delivered
- Claims must be submitted within 10 days of the expected delivery date.
For damaged packages:
- A clear photo of the damage to both the product and the shipping packaging
- Photos must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery
- Please keep the damaged item until your claim is resolved (we may ask for additional photos)
To file a claim, email us at info@barksandbrownies.com with your order number, a brief description of what happened, and any required photos. We'll review and respond within 2-5 business days.
What's not covered
- Orders without Shipping Protection added at checkout
- Packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer
- Claims submitted outside the time windows above
- Cosmetic packaging damage that does not affect the product itself
- Returns due to change of mind (see our Return Policy)
Without Shipping Protection
If you chose not to add Shipping Protection at checkout, we're unable to replace or refund lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We recommend adding the $0.99 protection — it's the easiest way to ship with peace of mind.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We're not able to redirect packages once they've shipped, and orders sent to an incorrect address aren't covered by Shipping Protection.
